buzzd Goes Android, Releases New Versions for iPhone, BlackBerry, Smart Phones

Android users can now get buzzd, as the social-networking nightlife mobile app released an Android version, as well as new versions of its already-existing apps for the iPhone, the BlackBerry and other smart phones, TechCrunch reported.

Buzzd boasts more than 500,000 users, and it taps that base, along with Twitter and other real-time sources, to provide users with updates on activity at nearly 500,000 venues in 30 cities across the country and Canada, also featuring the ability to locate users’ friends via Twitter’s geolocation API, according to TechCrunch.
