Blip.tv Inks Pact to Distribute Web Series from The Collective

Blip.tv is looking to become more than a blip on the online-video radar screen following its agreement with The Collective’s Collective Digital Studio, which will allow it to distribute and monetize content from Collective creators -- including Annoying Orange, FreddieW, Fred, and iJustine -- to YouTube and other platforms.

News of the collective deal follows on the heels of Blip.TV’s May 17 launch of its consumer site, and the company said additional updates and products will be introduced throughout the remainder of 2011.
