Blip has teamed up with L4 Mobile to create a new mobile app, bringing their original web series content to iOS, Android and Kindle devices.  The app, which launched yesterday, lets users discover, watch and share Blip’s original content on their mobile phones and tablets.

Darren Cross, Blip’s VP of business and corporate development, said in a press release, “With our new mobile applications consumers can access the extensive Blip video network anytime and anywhere.  Through our collaboration with the experienced team at L4 Mobile we now deliver the same simple and straight-forward interface and video platform that consumers have come to expect from Blip across a wide variety of mobile devices.”

Keith O’Neill, CEO of L4 Mobile, says, “The content that is generated on Blip every month is incredibly unique and creative.  We are pleased that we could lend our cross-platform expertise to deliver this original video programming to the wider mobile audience.”

The app, which is available for free in the App Store, on Google Play and in the Amazon App Store (just search for “BlipTV”), lets you search for specific Blip shows, browse shows according to genre, or check out personalized content recommendations.  Users can also post reviews, chat with friends or share content to social networks like Facebook and Twitter, directly from the application, stream content to Air Play enabled devices, and even set up alerts for new episodes.
