An Infographic Tribute To Golden Girl & Viral Star Betty White

By Megan O'Neill

In 2010 actress Betty White went from Golden Girl to Golden Meme, thanks to her role in a popular Snickers Super Bowl commercial.  The commercial inspired Facebookers create a page pressuring SNL to invite Betty White to host.  Within a matter of days the group had 500,000 likes, Betty was invited to hose SNL and it’s been all uphill from there (not that she wasn’t already doing great)!  Today she’s responsible for millions of YouTube views, hundreds of thousands of Facebook likes and now she’s even got her own infographic!

Killer Infographics and Assisted Living Homes just released a new infographic tribute to the life and times of Betty White.  Betty White: A Glimpse At The Iconic Actress Over The Years follows White from her birth on January 17, 1922 through her early acting career, her starring role on The Golden Girls and her modern-day career.  It reveals not only her popularity in social media, but also fun statistics about how people feel about the Golden Girl.

A whopping 86% of those surveyed expressed a favorable opinion of Betty and 44% would be more likely to do business with a company endorsed by Betty White.  Some brands, like The Lifeline Program have taken advantage of this by taking Betty on as a spokeswoman.
