Ben Stiller To Launch Tropic Thunder-Inspired Fake Movie Trailer Web Series
Ben Stiller’s production team, Red Hour Digital, has got a brand project in the works—The Fake Trailer Project. They’ll be creating a series of at least 12 short fake movie trailers, starring top actors and filmmakers across all genres.
If you’ve seen the hilarious Ben Stiller flick Tropic Thunder then you surely remember the seriously funny fake movie trailers featured at the beginning of the film. There was The Fatties: Fart 2 starring Jack Black aka Jeff Portnoy, Satan’s Alley with Toby Maguire and Robert Downey Jr. aka Kirk Lazarus, and Scorcher VI with Stiller as Tugg Speedman. The trailers are just one of the many highlights of Tropic Thunder and fans will be excited to hear that Stiller plans to make even more of them!
