Longtime Facebook Designer Ben Blumenfeld became the latest employee of the social network to head for the exit door, telling TechCrunch he will become co-director of Designer Fund.

According to TechCrunch, Andreessen Horowitz and 500 Startups are among the sponsors of Designer Fund, which describes itself as an angel fund of designers.

Blumenfeld told TechCrunch he will help designers raise money, find co-founders, learn entrepreneurship, and use their skills for social good. He joined Facebook in 2007.
