Barnes & Noble Promotes Black History Month Nook Books

Throughout February, Barnes & Noble is celebrating Black History Month with special events and promotions including specially priced Nook books from Black American authors.

Featured books include: Rebecca Skloot’s The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lack; The Last Days of Ptolemy Gray by Walter Mosley; Condoleezza Rice: A Memoir of My Extraordinary, Ordinary Family and Me by Condoleezza Rice; and Henry’s Freedom Box: A True Story from the Underground Railroad by Ellen Levine.

The book chain will also promote these titles in their stores with signage and hold in store Storytime events related to these titles.
