25% Of Those 55+ Want Hashtags To Be Taught In Schools; 68.5% Of Young Adults Don't [SURVEY]

Results of a recent survey, which queried 1,000+ Americans nationwide and was sponsored by founder of Live Your Message Marisa Murgatroyd, demonstrate that Americans are divided when it comes to teaching social media in schools.

A full quarter of respondents aged 5+ thought hashtags should be taught in schools, whereas 68.5% of respondents aged 18-24 believed the opposite.

Moreover, while 25.5% of respondents over the age of 55 didn’t know what a hashtag is, only 17.6% of those under 55 didn’t know.
