Marvel Backs ‘Avengers Vs. X-Men’ With Two Facebook Apps

Marvel Entertainment teamed up with social marketing platform Offerpop to promote its Avengers Vs. X-Men comic-book crossover with two applications on the Marvel Facebook page.

Marvel Entertainment teamed up with social marketing platform Offerpop to promote its Avengers Vs. X-Men comic-book crossover with two applications on the Marvel Facebook page.

Avengers Vs. X-Men Face Off allows users to choose the winners in match-ups between superheroes from the Avengers and the X-Men, such as Captain America vs. Cyclops and Iron Man vs. Magneto. It is powered by Offerpop’s Tug of War app.

And Marvel Cosplay Heroes uses Offerpop’s Fan Faves app to allow users to vote for their favorite fans in superhero costumes.
