YouTube’s auto-tune superstars The Gregory Brothers, aka Schmoyoho, is paying homage to Martin Luther King, Jr. with a new songified masterpiece, ‘Martin Luther King, Jr. Sings in Memphis’. The piece is an auto-tuned version of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s final speech in Memphis, TN.
King sings his famous words, “Let us rise up tonight with a greater readiness. Let us stand with a greater determination.” This is, of course, the speech that MLK gave the night before his assassination on April 3, 1968.
I can see how some may find this video a tad insensitive.
