Audioboo Lets You Play Songs And Radio Clips Right In Your Twitter Stream
A year go, SoundCloud became the first Twitter audio partner, using Twitter Card functionality to enable users to listen to audio files right from their Twitter stream.
Now Audioboo has announced Twitter Cards integration that will do the same.
The London-based social sound platform Audioboo will now play back audio files directly within Twitter.
The announcement follows the company’s expansion into San Francisco, a website revamp, and refreshes of its Android and iPhone apps.
Rob Proctor, CEO of Audioboo, said,
“Just like TwitPic brought images into Twitter’s timeline, now Audioboo is adding sound – without breaking away from the Twitter experience to visit another site.”
