How Facebook Users Can Ask Friends For Information Not Included In Their About Sections

We reported last week that Facebook added a way for users to request their friends’ real (non-Facebook.com) email addresses, and it now appears that this functionality has been extended to all information not included in friends’ about sections.

We reported last week that Facebook added a way for users to request their friends’ real (non-Facebook.com) email addresses, and it now appears that this functionality has been extended to all information not included in friends’ about sections.

Reader Matteo Gamba of Wimdu shared the screenshot above, in which he had the ability to ask his friend for information that had not been included in his about section, including work, education, current city, and address.

When users request such information from friends, they are given the option of adding a short note explaining why they are asking.
