Steinberg told TechCrunch he does not envision Vamo as a direct competitor to travel sites such as Priceline, Expedia, and TripAdvisor, adding that his difficulty booking his own trips to Brazil, India, Japan, China, and Italy drove his thinking behind Vamo.
