AppTap, Liquid Wireless partner for targeted app recommendations

App discovery and advertising network AppTap has announced a partnership with Liquid Wireless, Publishers Clearing House’s (PCH) mobile advertising network, to drive consumers to download new apps, based on targeted app recommendations. The partnership with see the two companies integrating AppTap’s recommendations engine with first-party audience data to recommend other games to consumers who already play PCH’s mobile games everyday.

During its soft launch, this combination saw click-to-install rates of more than 25 percent, and increased revenue per click of 55 percent for app advertisements within PCH’s games. By targeting PCH’s users, who are established fans of mobile games, the partnership drives downloads to AppTap’s partners.

“AppTap’s recommendation engine and their wide variety of marquee app developers enables us to promote apps to our loyal consumers in an effective and targeted manner,” said Jason Cianchette, General Manager of Liquid Wireless.
