AP, Google Ink Pact

Google will continue to post content from The Associated Press under terms of an agreement announced Monday, and the two companies also said they would work together “to improve discovery and distribution of news.”

AP director of media relations Paul Colford released the following statement:

The Associated Press and Google have reached a new agreement on the continued licensing of AP content by Google. Under the agreement, AP and Google will also work together in a number of new areas, such as ways to improve discovery and distribution of news.
