Anti-Microbial Coatings Could Help Keep Phone Screens Clean

Did you know that your phone’s less clean than a typical doorknob or toilet? It’s a nursery for bacteria, but what if it can keep itself clean with a self-disinfecting coating? The anti-microbial coating is developed by Corning as the latest version of Gorilla Glass that can kill most bacterial within two hours. The coating can also be used on other surfaces, but let’s face it, you touch your smart phone most of your waking hours, and it’s probably the dirtiest thing you own.
