Angry Birds Creator Snaps up an Animation Studio, Ramps Up Efforts for IPO

Rovio, the creator of extremely popular game Angry Birds, acquired the leading Finish animation studio, Kombo. Financial terms of the deal are not disclosed, but it is speculated that there was a mix of cash and Rovio’s stock involved. From now onwards, Kombo’s production efforts will be based entirely on Rovio properties.
