Android And iPhone Apps Appear In Google Mobile Search Results

Google is now including links to Android and iPhone apps that match search terms entered in Google’s mobile search. To search for an application, open Google’s web search on an Android phone or an iPhone and enter “download [app name].” For example, to search for Shazam in the Android Market on my Nexus One, I typed download shazam in the Google search box. A link to the Shazam app in the Android Market appears at the top of the search results.
