One of the most prominent Facebook Preferred Marketing Developers celebrated a new milestone Wednesday, as Ampush earned Facebook’s Strategic Preferred Marketing Developer badge. This will have Ampush working closer with Facebook on new products and other advances in the social marketing world.
Facebook awards exceptional PMDs with the strategic label, and Ampush has been at the forefront of Facebook advertising efforts for years. The company has been a PMD since 2011.
Ampush has worked with major clients such as MasterCard, LivingSocial and Kellogg’s, driving conversions, awareness and other objectives through Facebook advertising. Using its trademarked AMP Social Marketing Platform, Ampush delivers a metric called referred intent — the force that drives Facebook users to try things their friends like. The company won Facebook’s PMD Innovation Competition in March.
Ampush CEO Jesse Pujji spoke with Inside Facebook about his company’s newest achievement:
It’s sort of a two-way street. We certainly get early access to alphas and betas in Facebook, we’re working closely in line with their product strategy, and giving them perspective, based on what we’re seeing in the marketplace. On the other hand, we’re required to be quicker with our development and turn things around quickly and help them participate in betas. … We look at it as getting into the playoffs. Now’s our chance to win the Super Bowl and go be the No. 1 company in the space.
Facebook VP of Partnerships Blake Chandlee commented on Ampush’s newest award in a press release:
We’re pleased to welcome Ampush into the sPMD program. As demonstrated through their win of Facebook’s ‘The Era of News Feed’ PMD innovation competition earlier this year, Ampush continues to build and deliver innovative technology that enhances the performance of their brand partners on Facebook.
