Amazon Tablet Rumored To Be Here In October
If DigiTimes is correct, the Amazon tablet could be here as early as October. The site, which has been reporting on the Amazon tablet for months, is now saying that the 7-inch tablet is expected to ship in October and another 10-inch tablet is expected to ship in Q1 2012.
Here is more from the site: “Mass production of Amazon’s 10.1-inch tablet PC reportedly will be conducted in the first quarter of 2012 with Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) to handle the orders, according to sources from upstream component suppliers…Amazon’s 7-inch tablet PC, which is supplied by Quanta Computer, is expected to start shipping in October, the sources added.”
