Amazon Rolls Out Kindle MatchBook, a Bundled Option For Buying Print & Digital Books

Amazon has rolled out its Kindle MatchBook, a new program that allows customers the option to purchase discounted Kindle Editions of print books that they have purchased new from Amazon. The eBook editions are sold as an add-on purchase. Most cost somewhere between free and $2.99.

Amazon first announced the program in September with 10,000 books and has now enrolled more than 70,000 books into the program. The feature works for books purchased all the way back to 1995, the year Amazon opened for business.
