Amazon Releases Kindle App for Android

Amazon is on a roll today. First, they announced that their Kindle app on iPhones and iPads would come with video and audio enabled books. Now they have released the Kindle app for Android.

Like all Kindle apps, Kindle for Android includes Amazon’s Whispersync technology, which lets users customize their eBooks across Kindle devices. Kindle is already available on BlackBerry, iPad and the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Dorothy Nicholls, director, Amazon Kindle said this in the press release, “Our customers tell us they love the convenience of having their Kindle library with them everywhere and their reading synchronized across multiple devices.
