Amazon Launches Kindle For The Web

Amazon.com has launched the beta version of a new service called “Kindle for the Web.” The service lets customers sample Kindle books directly through their Web browser.

To use the service, customers can click “Read first chapter FREE” on a book’s product page and the first chapter will open within the web page. This could have something to do with Amazon’s new patent.

In addition, bloggers and website owners who are participants in the Amazon Associates Program can embed samples of Kindle books on their sites.
