Amazon Expands Prime Instant Video with new PBS Deal

Your Amazon Prime membership just got a little better. Amazon announced Wednesday that it had signed a new partnership with the PBS.

Amazon Prime members will soon have access to over a thousand videos from PBS archives, including NOVA, Masterpiece and Antiques Roadshow, The Civil War, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, Baseball, and Jazz. They’ll also be getting new releases shortly after they are broadcast, including popular shows like Frontline and Washington Week.

“Expanding the reach of our content by making it accessible through digital platforms is a key priority for PBS,” said Jason Seiken, Senior Vice President, PBS Interactive, Product Development and Innovation.
