Is This The First Airline To Add Its Twitter Handle To One Of Its Planes? [PHOTO]
This might be a first. Aer Lingus, Ireland’s oldest airline and second-largest behind Ryanair, has added its @AerLingus Twitter handle to the side of one of its planes. And, because social media marketing is so in right now, they’ve politely asked folks to follow them, too.
The airline made the announcement yesterday on its Twitter profile to its more than ten thousand followers, and the news has been pretty well received.
