If social media decided whom the Emmy goes to, Orange is the New Black and Game of Thrones would be taking home awards.
Social media marketing platform Viralheat analyzed social media sentiment to see which Emmy nominees had the most social support. The company looked at data over the weekend from Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and blogs.
If the Emmys were decided by social mentions, here are your winners:
- Best Drama Series: Game of Thrones
- Best Comedy Series: Orange is the New Black
- Lead Actor – Drama: Bryan Cranston
- Lead Actress – Drama: Kerry Washington
- Lead Actor – Comedy: Ricky Gervais
- Lead Actress – Comedy: Taylor Schilling
