More than 25 million Facebook pages are now classified as small business pages following a change by the social network to include ecommerce pages in the category, Global Director of Small Business Dan Levy announced Monday at Salesforce’s Dreamforce conference in San Francisco.
Prior to the change, only pages that represented small businesses with physical store locations were counted in the category.
Levy said the total of more than 25 million represented active pages, meaning pages where a page administrator has logged in or posted within the past month.
