Christmas break is over, which means it's time to take a look at which games people are coming back to after their breaks. Nothing too spectacular about this week's list, besides CityVille, of course. CityVille CityVille, after dethroning FarmVille from its high horse, leads the social gaming industry with 75 million monthly active users. With CityVille's only big dip in daily active users occurring during the Christmas season a few days ago, CityVille's daily growth is measured at 2.5 million users. Monster Galaxy, second to CityVille with regards to daily growth, trails CityVille's growth by about 2.2 million users. FarmVille FarmVille, behind CityVille with 57.5 million monthly active users, has been growing steady monthly since the beginning of December. Daily, however, has been an up and down battle since the beginning of the month. On December 8th, FarmVille reached 17.2 million daily active users, but then daily active users declined to 16.2 million on December 11th. By December 14th, FarmVille jumped back up to 17 million daily active users, however, declined back down to 16 million daily active users on December 20th. Zynga's Texas Hold'em Zynga's Texas Hold'em, currently at 35.1 million monthly active users, is ranked third this week. Texas Hold'em attracted 33.4 million monthly active users on December 7, making the 35.1 million monthly active users an increase of 1.7 million. Texas Hold'em's only competitor, ranked 30th in monthly active users, is å¾·å·žæ’²å…‹(ä¸æ–‡ç‰ˆ) with 5.1 million monthly active users. FrontierVille FrontierVille is the only game in our top five list with declining growth numbers. FrontierVille, with 30.3 million monthly active users, is currently declining daily by 78,000 users and declining weekly by 668,000 users, according to AllFacebook. This decrease in growth could be to the rapid growth of CityVille users or due to FrontierVille's loading problem in the middle of the month. Mafia Wars Game Zynga's Mafia Wars Game, holding steady in fifth place, has 19.2 million monthly active users. As reported by Social Times, Zynga announced their first in-game music partnership with Dr. Dre for Mafia Wars. However, this announcement did not have a significant affect on daily active users on Mafia Wars.
