Facebook Looking To Hire Fourth D.C. Employee

Yesterday Facebook posted a new job on their site, looking to hire a manager of public policy in Washington, D.C. Considering that this employee will be the fourth at Facebook’s D.C. office, there’s no doubt that it will be a competitive position. According to the job listing, the “Manager, Public Policy” will “monitor legislative and regulatory matters at the state governmental level, participate in federal policy discussions, and lead [Facebook’s] interactions with consumer organizations”.

The fact that the new employee will need the “ability to lead and manage teams” suggests that Facebook is looking to hire more employees for their D.C.
