The number 13 is not very lucky for Facebook with 2015 about to start. Social jobs and career community Glassdoor released the 2015 version of its 50 Best Places to Work list, and Facebook placed at No. 13, down markedly from its fifth-place finish on Glassdoor’s 2014 list, and No. 1 on the 2013 installment.
A total of 14 tech companies cracked the list:
- Google (No. 1 overall, 4.5 company rating)
- F5 Networks (No. 4, 4.3)
- Facebook (No. 13, 4.1)
- Qualcomm (No. 14, 4.1)
- Adobe (No. 18, 4.1)
- MathWorks (No. 19, 4.1)
- Apple (No. 22, 4.0)
- LinkedIn (No. 23, 4.0)
- Zillow (No. 33, 3.9)
- Mindbody (No. 34, 3.9)
- Nvidia (No. 36, 3.9)
- Orbitz Worldwide (No. 42, 3.9)
- Interactive Intelligence (No. 44, 3.9)
- Genesys (No. 45, 3.9)

The amount of power entrusted to employees is huge. You are empowered to go explore and find data, build things and generally choose the course of action you think will have the most impact.
