You may know Grammy-winning musician will.i.am as the lead singer in the Black Eyed Peas, but his creative prowess stretches beyond the worlds of hip-hop and pop. His unconventional approach and inventive thinking have expanded his influence into technology, politics, entrepreneurship and philanthropy.

As an entrepreneur, will.i.am is the creator of the i.am+ foto.sosho camera phone accessory, and he is a founding shareholder of Beats Electronics. Last year he joined with Coca-Cola to launch EKOCYCLE to take sustainable living and recycling to the next level. Intel named him its director of creative innovation. His vision behind the “Yes We Can” music video supporting Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign earned him an Emmy and he is the first to debut a song in outer space, made to celebrate the landing of NASA’s Curiosity rover on Mars.

His i.am.angel foundation strives to create opportunity by providing funding for other charitable activities in areas such as education, housing and science.
