Since her days as Carrie Bradshaw on HBO’s Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker has had another important role to play: style icon. Her character helped turn Manolo Blahnik into a household name and Parker’s personal enthusiasm for style and design stretches into the world of fashion itself.
In March, she launched her namesake label SJP, carried exclusively by Nordstrom, a collection of shoes, handbags and trench coats designed in association with Blahnick CEO George Malkemus III.
Parker won four Golden Globes, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Emmys for Sex and the City, and has starred in countless films. She is executive producer of the documentary drama, city.ballet with AOL. As a volunteer, she is on the board of the New York City Ballet and is a Unicef ambassador.
The Honorary Clio Image Award recognizes a career of creative contributions to the fashion and beauty industries.
