Ted Williams, the “golden-voiced” YouTube star who was homeless in Ohio just a few short days ago, is now the spokes-voice for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, Ad Age reports.

“His amazing voice is perfectly suited to our campaign,” Kraft spokesperson Lynne Galia told the publication. “We were in the middle of making our TV spots and in a unique position to help Ted use his great voice to gain employment.”

Williams has also been offered a job with the basketball team, the Cleveland Cavaliers and doing the voice overs for MSNBC’s “Lean Forward” campaign.

Carol Phillips, president of Brand Amplitude, tells the magazine that the offer is a win for Williams – who has gotten so much publicity from the video, he was on the Today show this morning – and for Kraft.

“It’s like practically free publicity. It’s showing that they are in the pop culture and responding,” said Phillips.  Do you agree? The comments are open or tweet us @prnewser.
