WH Social Media Followers Want to Chat with the President

The White House conducted informal surveys of its followers on Facebook and Twitter in an effort to find out where they can make improvements and in the process learned a thing or three about who follows them.

Among the learnings: 50 percent of the respondents on Facebook were over 50 years old and 62 percent of Twitter respondents were over 35 years of age (only 32 percent were over 50). Sixty-four percent said the number of Facebook posts were “about right” but 31 percent want more.
