The Secret Service Has Already Had a Twitter Gaffe
The Secret Service only launched its Twitter account last week (May 9, to be exact) and already they’re apologizing for a tweet that never should’ve been.
Yesterday, the tweet above went out over the Secret Service account. Today, the federal agency is issuing a mea culpa for dissing on Fox News. The Secret Service has 20,000 followers, who quickly retweeted the comment.
A spokesperson for the agency, Edwin Donovan issued a statement saying the person responsible for the errant tweet accidentally thought they were sending it on a personal account.
