Going over the best and worst dressed lists from last night’s Emmy’s? Don’t forget forget the makeup and nails.
During the Emmy broadcast — from the red carpet arrivals to the final trip to the stage for the cast and crew of Breaking Bad— L’Oreal was online offering up mood boards based on the looks of the award show attendees and tutorials from YouTube video partners with the L’Oreal Paris Live Social Response Lab.
The digital lab was also the official launch of the Destination Beauty channel on YouTube, where beauty videos hosted by Sccastaneda, XSparkage, HelloKatyXO and others will be available.
While the Emmy Award tie-in makes sense, it’s difficult to compete with all of the social media activity that happens during a big awards show. And there weren’t a ton of posts; about a dozen from what we can tell. But in terms of a launch for a larger program, this is a decent start. Fashion Week is coming soon, so we’re guessing there will be more to come soon.
