Here’s a weird one: Quentin Tarantino has officially shelved the ensemble Western that would have been his next movie, insinuating that an unnamed actor’s rep leaked the script’s first draft.

This is some serious Inside Hollywood stuff: yesterday the director told Deadline that he suspects an agent at the Creative Artists Agency of pilfering said script, which he only gave to six of the actors he’d planned to cast. He only realized what had happened when he began to get calls from agents looking to cast their own clients in what would have been called The Hateful Eight.
