- Microsoft Australia has chosen Ogilvy as its PR AOR. This announcement comes just after Ogilvy Australia released a new proprietary measurement system called Impact4 (presumably not designed to tell us how Bing is doing Down Under).
- Edelman acquired The Devon Group, a Toronto-based firm. The firm will become part of Edelman Canada starting today, with its president Bob Richardson serving as EVP and overseeing operations in Calgary, Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto. In a related blog post, Edelman Canada CEO John Clinton writes that the change will turn the firm’s Canadian offering into “something much more than working the old boys’ network of days gone by.”
