Social commerce site Kaboodle has selected The Morris + King Company as its AOR following a competitive review. Kaboodle is owned by Hearst, and provides a community of shoppers with discounts, suggested items, and other shopping info. The GoNewark Sports & Entertainment Committee has hired MWW Group to promote the GoNewark HoopFest, which brings NCAA basketball to Brick City. The event takes place between March 23rd and 27th. The firm will promote the event as well as encourage ongoing tourism to the city of Newark.
Child’s Play Communications has added Storkbrokers.com to its client list. The site, which launched on February 23rd, is a marketplace where parents can sell used baby and children’s items. The firm will handle traditional and online outreach, including blogger relations.
Outdoor apparel brand Filson has selected Turner PR for national PR and social media campaigns targeting the outdoor and lifestyle media.
