Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR), has announced that Amy Delson has joined the agency as vice president. With more than a decade of public relations and communications experience across the real estate, fashion, theater and consumer industries, including in-house roles at TOWN Residential and Citi Habitats, Delson will develop and execute strategic media relations strategies for RPR’s industry-leading real estate division and more. In her role as Vice President, Delson will spearhead the day-to-day operations for multiple clients. Delson previously served as director of public relations at Manhattan real estate firm TOWN Residential, as well as Director of Marketing at Citi Habitats. (Release) Global Strategy Group of Washington, D.C. signed Matt Canter as senior vice president. Canter previously served as deputy executive director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee; he also held senior comms positions with the offices of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR), and Governor Jim Doyle (D-WI). In the new role, Canter will work on political campaign consulting while developing messaging strategies for clients based on opinion research. (Roll Call) Bryan Haviland has been named president of public relations firm FrazierHeiby. The move is part of a planned transition in which Haviland will become CEO in 2016, succeeding Tom Heiby. Heiby remains CEO through the end of the year and will remain engaged as a senior consultant to the firm in 2016. Haviland has more than 30 years of strategic and creative communications and marketing experience. Prior to joining FrazierHeiby in 2013, he served as executive vice president of client services and COO for Fahlgren Mortine. He has also held the positions of chief communications officer for Nationwide Financial Services and senior vice president of corporate practice for Paul Werth Associates. (PR Week) Wonacott Communications hired Johner Riehl as VP/PR Lebowski and Andrew Park as account director/PR special agent of its tech/interactive entertainment team. Prior to joining Woldacott, Riehl worked in the gaming departments at Edelman and Golin; the release tell us that "Although technically he is vice president, he is more of a PR Lebowski because sometimes there’s a man – we won’t say a hero – that really can tie a PR program together." Park, who will be based in San Francisco, was formerly managing editor of GameSpot.com; he also worked in marketing with mobile game developer Game Insight. (Release) Quillin Advertising, Public Relations & Social Media has hired Antonia Genov as social media manager. In addition, Melanie Shafer was promoted to public relations supervisor. In her new role, Genov will assist with the social media strategy and execution of social initiatives across several platforms for Quillin’s clients. Shafer joined Quillin in 2012 after serving as PR specialist at Caesars Entertainment.
