Ogilvy PR appointed Jennifer Banovetz to the position of SVP/brand marketing director effective August 4th. Banovetz, who most recently served as SVP of consumer brand practice at Edelman Los Angeles, will remain in the L.A. area to “oversee the growth and strategic direction of the firm’s work with major consumer accounts” on the West Coast while also working with other clients across the nationwide brand marketing practice. To the new role she brings more than 15 years of experience in brand communications for clients like Nestlé, Dogswell, Lululemon, Movember and Volkswagen of America; her resume includes stints at Cohn & Wolfe and an in-house position at Mazda. (Release)
