Ron Culp is stepping down as MD and head of the Ketchum North America corporate practice. According to his blog culpwrit, “Beginning this summer, I will hang up my own shingle in order to consult, teach, coach and write.” Chicago Business reports that he will remain a consultant with Ketchum.
Roberto Ruiz has been promoted to SVP of brand solutions in Univision’s client development group. He will be providing clients in telecommunications, retail, and other areas with insight about reaching the Hispanic market.
Matt Belson has joined Arnold Worldwide as VP and account director working with Dell, effective June 27. He’ll be working out the firm’s headquarters in Boston. Arnold is a Havas firm, working across digital, promotions, and advertising. Belson joins from Young & Rubicam where he also worked with Dell.
Mark Levine has joined Widmeyer Communications as senior counsel. He has 15 years of experience working with nonprofits and organizations across education and economic development, most recently with One Economy, a group that provides technology to residents in affordable housing. At Widmeyer, he’ll work with clients in these areas, focusing on the NYC area.
Mark Romig has been selected as CEO of the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corp. He was previously a VP of marketing and PR at HCA Healthcare. He succeeds Sandra Shilstone, who left the group in March. [via Nola.com]
