Judith McHale, the Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy, has announced she’ll be stepping down after two years in the position. The role is one that has been focused on “winning the hearts and minds” of Muslim populations around the world. Sara Ramsey has joined global comms company Isobar as MD of the San Francisco office. Previously, she was the VP of account management at Real Branding. She is replacing Tara Moss, who is moving to another position within parent company Aegis Media North America.
Declan Kelly, who previously served as a U.S. special envoy to Northern Ireland and as an executive at FD and its parent company FTI Consulting, has partnered with another former FTI executive Paul Keary, and a former counselor to President Bill Clinton, Douglas Band, to form Teneo Holdings, a consulting company. Comprised of Teneo Capital and Teneo Strategy (which will offer comms advisory services), the firm will have offices in London, New York, Toronto, and Washington, D.C. It was announced yesterday that former UK PM Tony Blair and former President Bill Clinton have also partnered with the new firm. [via BBC]
