FleishmanHillard named two new general managers; Ephraim Cohen will be GM of the firm's New York office while Mitch Germann will manage its Los Angeles location. Cohen, who was formerly EVP of tech and head of innovation at MWW Group, joined Fleishman in 2014 as SVP and senior partner of social/digital. A former journalist with Bloomberg, he also worked at Edelman and founded Fortex Group. Germann also worked at Edelman and Fleishman in past roles; he joined the latter firm in 2012 as SVP and senior partner after directing brand communications at the Professional Bowlers Association, which is a thing?! (PR Week) Tech PR firm Pramana Collective hired three new executives: Kamyl Bazbaz, Kristen Whisenand and Carolyn Caswell. Caswell was formerly head of consumer marketing and social media for Shazam while Whisenand was director of PR for fashion subscription company Rent the Runway and Bazbaz was the official spokesperson for Chelsea Clinton and a longtime member of the Clinton Foundation's extended press team. (Medium) Ogilvy Public Relations named Kerry Sette as EVP/research director of its Research Group in New York. Sette joins Ogilvy from the ad side of the marketing equation, having recently spent nearly ten years with the Hill Holliday organization as a researcher and, most recently, SVP/senior director of consumer insights for the org's New York-based Erwin Penland agency. (Release) Stanton Communications has promoted Lori Russo to the position of president of the firm. Formerly managing director, Russo joined Stanton Communications in 1999 at the entry-level position of account coordinator. In her new position, Russo will be responsible for directing and growing the agency’s work in support of clients in the technology, consumer products and professional services sectors while further developing the firm’s digital and creative services business. (Release) Valet parking service app Luxe has hired Stephen Rocco Rodi as its first director of communications. Rodi will oversee the management and execution of all communications functions including PR, brand, social media and email marketing. Prior to joining Luxe, Rodi was an executive vice president at Edelman. (Bulldog Reporter) NCompass International has announced two new hires. Effective immediately, Brent Koning, formerly of Microsoft, and Aaron Miller, formerly of George P. Johnson, will join the company with senior leadership roles. In addition, the company has announced that it will be opening up an office in Seattle, Washington. (Release) Geto & de Milly, Inc. has added Maya Kremen to its team. Kremen was previously political and communications director of the Associated Musicians of Greater New York, Local 802 American Federation of Musicians, where she worked to advance the union’s major legislative campaigns and build relationships within the entertainment / labor community. At Geto & de Milly, Maya will continue to work on legislative and communications issues for Local 802, a longtime client, as well as other labor union initiatives for the firm. (O'Dwyer's)
