Robert Gibbs Answers Gulf Coast Oil Spill Questions on YouTube

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs joined White House Director of New Media Macon Phillips last night to answer citizen’s questions regarding the Gulf Coast oil spill.

The second question was about BP blocking access to media trying to report on the disaster. In his answer, Gibbs noted that more than 600 reporters have been embedded into operations in the Gulf in recent weeks. “This president takes the notion of media access and transparency very seriously,” said Gibbs.
