Ron Burgundy’s Own Brand of ‘Scotchy Scotch Scotch’ to Hit Shelves

anchorman-scotch-656Heading to a holiday party and want to make sure everyone knows you’re the classiest one there? Forget the champagne and leave the pinot noir at home; the only beverage to bring to a top notch affair this holiday season is the Scotch whiskey guaranteed to help you “stay classy, San Diego” — Ron Burgundy’s own Great Odin’s Raven.

The nectar of the newscast gods is a blend of grain and malt Scotch whiskies and boasts 40% abv. (So you’ll be plenty drunk enough to amiably socialize with that awful guy from the accounting department or your hyper-critical sister-in-law.)

Though little information has been released about price or date of availability, we’d be willing to bet it will hit shelves in time for the mid-December release of “Anchorman: The Legend Continues.” And don’t worry, you’ll have no trouble distinguishing the bottle from all the lesser brands of whiskey on liquor store shelves; the label features a black raven above Burgundy’s name and boasts his loving petname for his favorite beverage, “Scotchy Scotch Scotch.”

There have now been so many promotional tie-ins for the Anchorman sequel that a person could feasibly drive a Ron Burgundy Dodge Durango to a store to purchase Ron Burgundy ice cream and then head home to drink Ron Burgundy Scotch while watching Ron Burgundy on an actual news broadcast…

“Great Odin’s raven!”
