Research: Latinos Say They'll Vote for President Obama in 2012

A recent poll conducted by impreMedia, the Hispanic news and info company, and Latino Decisions found that 70 percent of respondents approved of the job President Obama is doing. In addition, 55 percent of respondents – comprised of Latino voters – said they were intend to vote for President Obama or are leaning in his direction in 2012.

More than half of respondents, 52 percent, also approve of how Democrats are reaching out to Hispanics. Only 18 percent said the same about Republicans.

The poll was conducted between January 24 and February 5, 2011 in the 21 states with the highest Hispanic population, a total of 94 percent of the electorate.
