Philadelphia City Council Approves $100k PR Contract

Ross Associates Inc. has won a $100,000 contract with the Philadelphia City Council to provide services including, “issues management, crisis communications, special events, media relations, community engagement, and message development,” the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Ross was one of two agencies to respond to a public RFP, originally posted on the council’s website in October. The other agency, Bellevue Communications, dropped out due to conflicts of interest. The agency will charge $150 to $200 an hour for work communicating the city’s budgeting process throughout the next year.
