Newsweek PR Chief Leaves; Joins Nasdaq
As the fate of Newsweek remains up in the air — the publication was put up for sale in early May — employees are searching for more solid ground.
One of those employees is Frank De Maria, vice president of corporate communications, who is leaving the magazine to join the NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) as senior vice president of global corporate communications.
Prior to joining Newsweek in 2008, De Maria was head of global media relations at Thomson Reuters.
