New Tufts Program Promotes Nutrition Communications

Tufts University’s Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy today announced a new program focused around nutrition communications. According to a Tufts press release, the online graduate certificate program “will help public relations professionals translate science-based nutrition information to their clients and the public.”

It quotes Friedman School Dean Dr. Eileen Kennedy as saying the program, which is currently accepting applications for its January 2011 session, will “ultimately result in the public receiving more clear, concise messages about nutrition and health.”
